You did the right thing and handled it well for sure.
I do have to say though kids this age and especially boys,well they express love physically keep that in mind, playfighting rough housing and such

But in my experience, boys need a bit more of a firm touch and more structure, and as youve read from my posts, ive helped others with this, I used to only spank once a month or whatnot , but when i began first time obediance and looked at smaller issues too, its been sooo much better

two or three punishments a week, matthew is now a new boy and it helps him thrive i find. plus his regular bedtime spankings too.

Just some thoughts. but overall, good job mom!
