 Abel who is 10 gets punished about weekly to 10 days on average, although 2 days in a row are not that uncommon... the usual routine is i physically take the boy to his room often by the ear, and once i have him in there, he is then made to strip himself completely naked before me as i scold him and tell him what hes going to be getting eg. the rod, or strap... hes then positioned properly and disciplined soundly until i feel he has learned a complete lesson and penance.. corner time follows (remaining nude) on his knees and he is expected to be reciting his forgiveness prayers as he does his corner time on display. usually its straight to bed after corner time...the church doesnt discipline although they all know how most parents punish at home and the pastor or his wife have been present a few times when i conduct a disciplinary session on the boy here ay my home..Lorna
