Thanks for sharing that. It is only slightly more formal a process than for my 13 year old nephew. He is also undressed fully (by either his mom or by me), and the time afterwards here does also include spiritual guidance on how to behave better and obviate the need for future spankings.
I applaud you for including that time in Abel’s discipline.
