~+~*you climbed onto the dragon as the invisibility spell went into place, and you lost track of everybody around you. you were suddenly very glad that you had gotten onto the dragon before it hit you- because you could no longer see it. you huddled down on its back as it lifted off, and climbed into the air at a flat angle so as to keep you from falling off. you looked down, and saw about 80+ guards swarming on the area you had just taken off from. they had apparently seen Bahamut landing- which meant that they would be more concerned with finding the dragon than keeping all of the entrances protected. lucky you. you watched with interest as you circled the top of the castle, wondering if this was what the Spirits felt like while watching you. you watched the target balcony come into view, and then watched as you were lowered onto it- and felt the thud as Bahamut landed. it was quite large, actually- it was half the length of a football field. the guards jumped slightly, as they had apparently felt a gust of wind from the dragons wings or a slight rumble when it landed- but neither of them moved to sound an alert. you tensed suddenly as the dragon lurched forward. you assumed that it had swept the guards off the side with its head, since there was no room for it to turn around to use its tail, and its wings could not bend quite right to get at them from the angle in which it hand landed. you carefully found your way down, and then felt a light breeze as Bahamut vanished. the invisibility spell wore off as soon as it was gone. Teyon was looking over the edge where the guards had fallen.*~+~

Teyon- it looks like they landed on part of the outer wall..... nobody will find them for a while..... thats good for us, anyways.

Araeian- thats kind of gross to think about- lets just get out of here....

~+~*she looked over her shoulder towards the forest.*~+~

Araeian- that place bothers me....

Kibelle- that dosnt surprise me.... but that is not important right now. we need to go.

~+~*you went in through the door that they had been guarding, and found yourself in what appeared to be a common room. it was empty at the moment. Araeian and Loki both checked both exits to make sure that there was nobody waiting for them, and then you made your way out into the brightly lit halls. you needed to get back to the main level to look for the door- those had been Sandreanne's instructions. you found a stair well and began the descent, passing only a few guards on the way there. none of them seemed interested in questioning you. when you finally reached the bottom level and emerged into the main hall, you were effectively out of ideas. you could not see the door anywhere. Kibelle looked around, and thought for a moment.*~+~

Kibelle- if i remember correctly...... it should be down the main hall, near the stairwell leading down into the dungeons.

~+~*just as you began walking, the room suddenly cleared out. everybody lefr, guards included. it suddenly felt very empty.... you could hear the soft tapping of shoes, which heralded the entrance of three people. two unarmed guards wearing light armor, both of them very clearly half demons- and the other, a young woman. you shuddered right away, knowing who you were looking at. this was the Queen Alaria who was holding Eldan captive. she didn't look like somebody who could do something of that nature- a young woman, very beautiful, with big green eyes, long brown hair, dressed in an elegant white gown..... she looked nothing like she had looked in the visions. but you knew that people like her rarely did. she approached you slowly, stopping at a few yards.*~+~

Alaria- you..... i recognize some of you...... oh yes, i see now..... Fire Song's friends, and Treyvan's flunkie.

~+~*apparently, she could see Kibelle, regardless of whether everybody else in the kingdom could or not.*~+~

Alaria- you will return, wont you? you are going to return and take Eldan away from here..... i can sense it..... i will never..... ever..... let you take him!!!!

~+~*you were very stunned when the first shockwave was sent out that you barely had time to get out of the way as the spell crashed down where you had been standing. to your dismay, all of the Maidens, Venan, and Taran had not been so lucky. when the light cleared, there was no trace of them. the attack had not come from Alaria, but rather, from her half-demon guards. they were preparing another attack, when you felt a powerful barrier shoot up around you, coming from Araeian. their spell bounced off, and shot off into one of the pillars- doing little damage to it. Loki, Araeian, and Teyon all got their weapons ready. you noted with much distress that Kibelle had been caught in the first blast as well, and was gone without a trace. you wondered- if he was dead, what was Treyvan going to do to you...? you wisely readied your own weapons as the demons charged at you.*~+~
