Subject: For all you non Aussies.. re Valentines Day..

Saw this on tv news last night. A radio station promoted a Valentines Day 'what will you do for love' thing. They selected several young couples who were about to, or thinking of becoming engaged..and took them to an indoor swimming pool. Everyone had to be dressed nicely as for a date ( all the guys were in suits and ties!) then the gals had to stand at one end of the pool, and the guys had to dive in (fully dressed in their nice suits!) and swim to their lady loves. In each lane of the pool was a small black box, and the blokes had to dive down as they passed and pick up the box. One box contained an absolutely beautiful dazzling diamond engagement ring(don't know what the other boxes had in them, but I hope the rest at least got something for their wet efforts!)
It looked like a lot of fun. I didnt care about the ring, but I was envying them being in the POOL.. it was so HOT here yesterday!
