They make onion blossoms (some have different names) in some of the "yuppie-scaled) restaurants around here. It is a "must-have" little tool that cuts a whole onion into something like a pom-pom chrysanthemum shape. It is then dipped into batter and deep fried. Sort of like onion rings (that's what they taste like) but you pull off one petal at a time and eat.
I have a "kids room" set up for my grandchildren to stay in and provide a place for toys, books, games and crafts....but the smallest one is almost 6. I'm going to sell the playpen, highchair, safety rail, stroller, little bike w/training wheels and secretly hope there will be one more "surprise pregnancy" that will net me one more tiny sweet baby to rock away the days with...
