I'm always interested in sites like that.
Diane, I liked your reply over on AAB about feeding a cheaper kibble and I completely agree. All of us want to feed what we feel is the best way for our pets. But sometimes, due to circumstances....one simply cannot feed top quality food, be it kibble, and/or canned, Barf or homecooked. And I think a dog that starts out healthy can do well on cheaper kibble if cost is an issue and then supplemented with all the things from our own meals that are good and healthy.
I'm always getting flamed on another dog board that starts with B and "ends" with W for suggesting that to people. There was one I remember - a young divorced Mother, working full time and struggling to feed her two little boys and she posted asking if a diet of oatmeal only would be better than cheap kibble (which she could barely afford). I told her IMO the dog would be better off on the kibble supplemented with the things her kids didn't eat (and we all know how much children can waste.)
People get to be such "Nazis" about their preferred way of feeding. I hear it all the time from people who know I cook for Mack...they believe with all their heart that is a BAD thing (usually they get this info from their vets) for dogs to eat people food.
Anyway, thanks Margaret, I always find the subject of food interesting even if I don't agree - I believe in "live and let live".
