What's wrong about sleeping under a DOONA? They are very warm and comfortable. What do you call them in the land of the long white cloud? And JANDALS???!! Baby, is THAT some exotic name for thongs!
Funny thing is that I have a friend called Kathy that comes from NZ.. she lived in Aus for many years but now has returned to NZ to live. Anyway, we both used to go to a womens group and at the end we got certificates of our attributes. On Kathy's it said she was 'cute' and Kathy got all red and mortified.. she thought..(and it can only be some odd NZ trait) that it meant she was a cheeky, smart know it all.. actually over here it means sweet/funny/endearing- She felt MUCH better when it explained it to her with our usual Aussie generosity!
