Obviously Halloween is yet another night that we must give special thought to our animals. Sadly yours is not the first I have heard of going missing. Many hugs to you ... I too once upon a time owned (more was owned by) a jet black cat who was the love of my life. That is a very sad thing you had happen - frightening too.
