Thanks Diane. Jack too was the cat of my life. My kids used to joke about him being my 'familiar' he would leap off the top of a high kitchen dresser onto my shoulder and ride around on my shoulder whileI was doing household tasks or out in the garden. He was one of the most intelligent cats I have ever known.. almost uncanny in way. I really grieved over him.
