I still haven't made it but I mention trying tofu from time to time and both my guys pull funny faces and do the "ew yuck" thing but THEY HAVE NEVER EVER TRIED THE STUFF!!! So how can they say that? Sigh, men! You know I couldn't find the pasta for your recipe but I thought I might do a tomato based sauce. All Itallian style with loads of fresh basil and oregano and tomatoes are so cheap here right now that apparently some growers were throwing them out for lack of a market. How bad is that?!! And I have a whole string of plaited garlic bulbs (wish I knew how to do that!).... Anyway, glad your recipe was a hit :)) and that you fooled the masses. I have heard of the same thing happening when someone served a tripe based dish in a smorgasboard lunch, she put it there as a treat for some tripe loving friends and at the end it was totally gone, eaten by the trpe lovers and non-tripe lovers alike... too funny! What people will eat when they don't know what it is, Ha!
