I try not to go off on tangents and get started on other childrens teasets - but there are some beautiful ones out there. Have a look on ebay sometime.
I'm not even crazy about Blue Willow (in fact I'm not a "blue person" at all) but I *had* these pieces, so that's where I started. In fact, I think one reason they have value at all - is that they were pretty common everyday toys, hence no one was careful with them. It's the toys that were commonly popular that are hard to find, because they were well-used and discarded as "not special."
