When we go beach walking we keep a sharp eye out for unusual or interesting hardwood driftwood. We cart it all home and when Andrew and Daniel are revamping the numerous fishtanks they decide which pieces they want to use and waterlog them (in a big barrel - takes a while but we usually have some soaking in there) and hey presto - tank decorating a~la riverbed. :) I like beach combing - I especially like it after storms. That's when all the "good stuff" gets washed up. :) I generally have pockets stuffed with stuff too. Great fun!

Marlene I have a min. teaset but not a valuable one (it's from my childhood, possibly my mothers - not sure how far back). I'd love to see pictures of yours sometime (and the garden - still want to see that please. :)
