The furniture polish is heavy on the beeswax, light on oil and includes whichever essential oil you like the smell of (lavender would be nice and insect repellent too, rosemary would be good especially on darker wood, I used chamomile cause it started out as a hand cream, LOL). It's important to get the oil and melted beeswax to a similar temperature before attempting to mix them (mine came out a little on the grainy side cause I simply wasn't patient enough) stir untill coolish and for best results add the essential oils while your mixture is not really hot (you'll just evaporate them otherwise) but still "stirable" enough to ensure mixing. Does this help or would you like me to be more specific? I can be but generally I'm a "throw it in - that looks right" type of person. ;)
