I hit every nursery in town trying to accumulate what I had in mind - but had to give up on white daisy marguerite plants, (got yellow Coreopsis instead.) And just so I'd have something to b***h about forever, I got some Allysum to put around the rim of the geraniums. I wanted white and it was the only thing that seemed to work.
After lugging all the bags of planting mix, gravel and the plants themselves onto the carts, loading them *into* the car, then unloading them *out* of the car.......my back is talking to me. So I'll wait a little while and then start assembling.
I took some "before" pictures - and I'll take some "after" shots (though it probably won't look like much until the plants grow some!)
Ain't California great! Here it is the first of September and these things will look happy through December.
