The mandervilla that I bought about three months ago is still flowering. :) Not too shoddy given that it's winter (I planted it in a deep brick container under the slight overhang of the carport so I guess that's why. Also I've been meaning to say that we have two canton lace trees (the type often used for indoor plants and in office blocks) planted either side of the enterance way to the barbeque area and they are both huge now and have these big long pod things (from the flowers they had on them) like vanilla pods but much bigger that attract all sorts of birds that feed on them. :) The other day there were two rosellas and a heap of little wee finch like birds in them. What's really nice is that they are basically right outside our bedroom window (second story) so it feels like you're almost in the tree with them. :) I keep telling my husband that we need to put a little deck out from there!

Just thought I'd share about the birds while I was thinking about it. All your gardens sound lovely BTW except I think I've figured out why it is that Kris is selling her house, LOL - I can "grow" mud too Kris. ;)
