Old Nanny (100 year old Hungarian Nanny) used to make the apple ones or the bacon/potato/cheese ones for Sunday breakfast. Yum, Yum! The thickness of the dough makes them have a different taste than some other pasta type things like tortellini. I'd test some sauce on one first before adding to the whole batch. It really is quite a bit of work to make these by yourself but very worth it.
