Subject: *SO* much depends on the color of your hair

I'm a natural brunette and have been various shades of that all my adult life. I have fair skin , but with a lot of gold in it (otherwise know as yellow!) and I tan easily. I have hazel eyes that can look different colors depending on make-up, the "browness" of my hair or the eye make-up I might put on.
I really can wear most colors, but have never been comfortable in white-white or pastels. I love bright colors as well as all the autumn ones.
BUT.....a few years ago I started to lighten my hair very gradually - went from brunette, to auburn to strawberry blonde to BLONDE! I didn't have to change my make-up too much, but I sure couldn't wear some of my favorite colors like raspberry pink and red. That is when I discovered peachy/apricot tones and started wearing them.
But now........I have given up/given in. I'm going to let my hair go gray, I'm tired of "roots", of it being in bad condition and just generally worrying about it.
I shall wear purple........:-)
