Subject: Cribbing is terrible! Have you ever seen a horse that has done that?

Poor guy! There was a school horse at the stables I took lessons at that cribbed. They had to put the collar on him because he was getting splinters in his lungs and having problems breathing.

They say that sucking off the dried out wood gets them "high" some how, I don't know if that's true, though.

Once at the Toledo Zoo there was a Snow Leopard, BEAUTIFUL animal, that was so stressed out by its *read* TINY (it really was way too small for a mountain cat) enclosure that it just chewed it's tail until it bled.

WHY DO WE FORCE ANIMALS INTO CAPTIVITY THAT DON'T BELONG THERE??!! It's terrible.
