Marlene, you'll be best off to stick with phalaenopsis. Morning sun and they hate wet feet. Water frequently, but make sure it drains completely. Fertilize per the info I'm going to link to also the article will tell you potting medium.

Orchid E-zine

Marlene, you will see an article in the e-zine about repotting if you do some looking around. Pretty phalaenopsis hates repotting. One word...don't.

Diane, OMG...you can grow any species under those conditions (Marlene, are you sure you don't have a hot tub?). Do a dendrobium for me!!! *kidney beaning*

The article on fertilization is good for you too.
