Talk to all of you who actually live in places that I've only read about. I'm fascinated with geography and other peoples cultures. :) Meri - how do Sass and Gin want the sheep sent to them LOL - alive and baaing or ...well, you know ...the other option. ;-)

Melissa and Faye - you give me two more (plus a few extra) excellent reasons for wanting ot visit Florida one day. :) I have read that it is a beautiful place (didn't think much of the documentary we watched the other night featuring some of the critters that we might meet up with there though. I'd request that you have them all rounded up and safely contained for the duration of any visit I pay, LOL)

Marlene - interesting trivia about Hollywood (something I've always wondered whether it was based in fact or not). Was the name taken from the name of a farm that originally stood at the site and was a much used area for early filming? Was the farm named after an actual grove of holly trees (or small wood). That's what I've read ....always wondered. It's one of those twists and turns of history type things that a simple little wood could have passed on it's botanical name (common botanical name at least) to a huge, world reknown, thriving industry that is about as far removed from anything "natural & real" as you can get now.

As I said - just trivia ...but, hey, we're allowed to do that here right? :)

Diane.
