i think everyone needs to keep in mind that we all see TXF as something different.

i may have only seen part of S8,and not the end of it, but i never connected with doggett. (i only saw reyes for a few eps) i'm open to the idea of doggett and i was when watching it, but the whole time i was watching to get to when mulder returns. and i'm more of a scully-ist. :)

for me, TXF is mulder and scully. mulder and scully are TXF. no matter in what context, shape or form.

maybe its just too difficult to drastically alter such an established show. maybe people haven't given it a chance. maybe there are others who have and just cannot connect with the show anymore.

and i think sadly that its time to accept its over. this may sound stuck up but i plan to remember the last 3/4 years as being fantastic years, and move on. i realised today that this is so the end of an era. or maybe the era ended awhile ago.

i apologise for sounding a little pompous. :) but then again, i'm still waiting to see the rest of my S8. at this rate, TXF will always live on the BBC.
