"what the hell is an Assassin o'?" kande asks.

"beats me, should we read the rest of the note?" kenamom replies, already peeking between the folds, trying to make out the words.

"do you really want to take responsibility for the contents" kande jumps up and with her hands up high she backs away from the note. "the less we know sometimes the better".

Before the mayor could respond with the appropriate sarcastic remark the kitchen doors swing open and KS flys through, first tumbling low and taking cover behind the pile of dirty dishes Bubba has stacked up beside the sink. Her head darts up and checks out the room before she pushes in between the mayor and kande who are still standing at the bar.

"Back off girl, those size 11's are drodding on my toe's" Kande pushes her sister backwards. KS refuses to move, her eyes darting around the room nervously.

"hey guys, whats happenin'?" KS whispers and lets out a fake giggle. The Mayor, notices KS is acting strangly and wonders how to discretly find out what is wrong.

"What the hell is up your butt?" kande says loudly as she pushes her sister again.

"stop it...kande....ssshhhh, I need your help" KS gives her sister the evil eye. "someone...someone from my past is trying to contact me....I don't know how or when, but soon a message will arrive. I must respond to the quest" she whispers.

"um ks.." the mayor picks up the brick.

"...no...please listen. I know we have been close and I owe you all so much. But there is still so much you don't know. things I cannot tell you."

"sis, no listen to the mayor" kande says waving her arms.

"SHUT UP" KS glares, "I am trying to be generous here" she coughs then continues, "and I am afraid I still cannot tell you all, but you must trust me and let me do what I must, with out question....."

As KS drones on the Mayor picks up the brick and holds it over KS's head. kande is making faces and doing the thumb/finger yackitty yack sign. She is also rolling her eyes.

Suddenly KS stops talking as the brick, and note, lands in her lap.
