She stretches, yawns, then hops out of bed. Going downstairs, she notices the pleasing aroma of coffee. "Good job, Bubba," she says aloud. The little alien more often than not forgets to make the coffee.

Kande walks through the klub, adjusting chairs and tables, and grabs the mail that has been shoved under the door.

"Don't know why that pesky mailman won't use the mailbox." Whistling off-key, she sorts through the usual assortment of magazines and credit card offers. Suddenly, she drops everything except one envelope. With a grim look on her face, she rips it open.

"Jury dury! I have jury duty!" she wails.
