Kande has just finished screaming her frustration at her two newest employees. At least, she's finished screaming at one of them, the other hasn't bothered to show up for work for 3 days.

"Where's A?" Kande asks the little witch standing in front of her. The witch picks at her nails and ignores her. "I mean, he'll be in soon, right? Right?"

Bubba rolls his eyes. He wonders why Kande doesn't just fire A, or at least throw that big calculus book she keeps behind the bar at him. If it were up to Bubba, A would have had his fingernails torn out by now and been booted out on his butt. But noooo. Kande has to follow the new Human Resources rules put out by the Mayor in a large tome that explicitly states -- in small hard-to-read letters -- that no employee is to be fired until they've had three thousand and one chances. Unfortunately for Bubba, aliens and clones are exempt and can be tossed out after only one misunderstanding.

The little witch harumphs to get Kande's attention. "Like, do I have to take out this garbage?"

Kande looks at her. "Of course you do, you're the new janitor."

The witch sighs and tries again. Kande had predictably yet again given the wrong response. "So, do I have to take it out?"

Kande tries another tact. "Do you think you need to take it out?"

The witch looks at her silently, tapping her foot. Kande looks at Bubba for help. Bubba shrugs. Kande sighs. "Right, I'll take it out."

Just as Kande is trudging towards the door with the large bag of stinking garbage, KS and CW burst through the door.

"Is Rabid back yet?" CW pants. "We're back to save everyone!"

"I'm back for the torture fest," KS informs Kande, eyeing the little witch sitting at the bar, slugging back a diet rootbeer. "Should I start with her?"
