Mice are everywhere. Small ones, large ones, mice without heads pour toward the Shipperville residents in the Mayor Mobile.

"Gross!" Kande tries to tuck her feet beneath her on top of the car seat. She moans. "My Klub, my lovely Klub! Overrun with mice."

Captain Combover turns and faces the mice. He is still glowing from the testosterone overlaod. The mice surge toward him, drawn by the heat. Detoured can be seen on top of wave of mice, tied neatly with dental floss.

"Detoured! DET!" KS screams. "Get off the mice!"

Detoured lifts her head and looks at the frantic crowd in the Mayor Mobile. Strange, she didn't know the Mayor had a car. She thought vehicles -- except for emergency vehicles -- were banned in Shipperville. The rumbling of the mice beneath her is oddly soothing. She feels lulled into a state of semi-consciousness. She glances over to the left and sees a pudgy man with a comb-over glowing in front of the car. He still has one hand in the engine and is glowing with a fiery intensity.

"Captain Comb Over?" Det says incredulously. The last time she'd seen him was 5 years ago when she'd gone to the Super Hero Conference in Toronto. He'd been there with Captain Kangaroo. He'd been washed up then, a laughing stock with that ridiculous one strand of hair swirled around his bald pate. She'd had no idea he'd be the one to respond when she sent out the S.O.S.

Det makes a mighty effort and rolls off the mice and into the dust. The mice are still surging towards the car. The Shippervillians inside are screaming. She bursts the dental floss binding her and makes frantic motions at the car occupants. "Jump! JUMP!"

KS looks up and sees Det pantomiming leaping from the car. She motions for everyone to hold hands. "On the count of 3: 1....2....Jump!" Everyone jumps but Kande.

"You didn't say 3." Kande pouts. But then she jumps. She doesn't have to do everything her sister says, right when she says it.

The mice reach the car just as Captain Combover starts to smolder. An explosion rocks the town of Shipperville.
