...a car comes careening around the corner. Unable to see it over the huge stack of paper in his arms, JD doesn't get out of the way. The car hits JD, and he and paper go flying every which way.

"NO!!!!" screams KS. "My list! My list! My precious birthday list!" KS screeches at the top of her lungs. She rushes into the street and looks in the direction the car was headed. Too late. It's already rounded the corner. KS turns her attention back to the matter at hand. She nudges JD toward the curb. "You're bleeding all over my list! The ink will run!"

"Ooo-oo-oo-oooh," moans JD. "Sorry."

"Sorry? Is that all you have to say?" KS is hysterical. "You'll be plenty sorry by the time I'm done with you, mister."

Before KS can pull out one of her tools of torture, Scully comes running up. "What happened?"

"He dropped my birthday list!" KS whines.

Scully checks JD's pulse. "He's injured. Get a doctor! Now!"

"Aren't you a doctor?" KS foolishly asks. Before you can say "D'oh!", Scully has her glock pointed between KS's eyes.

"Don't make me say it again."

"All right!" KS backs away. "Don't get your knickers in a twist. I'll go call Stardoe." KS disappears into her Victorian mansion.

Meanwhile, the car that hit JD comes to a stop in front of the library. Rabid gets out of the car, holding her side. She wipes a tear from her eye. "Hoo-boy, that was hilarious! KS's list going every which way! Hee-hee-hee!" She doubles over. "Lordy, I must stop laughing so hard." As she finally catches her breath, she sees Stardoe running toward KS's house. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Ow!"

Meanwhile, at the klub, Kande is thinking about what to get her sister. "Bubba, what should I get her? She's been nothing but mean to me this year." Bubba nods and wipes down the bar. Kande taps a pencil against her front tooth. "Oh! I know!" Kande jots down her idea, then snickers to herself. "This is gonna be a GOOD year. Hehehe!"
