Kenamom has her "veto" stamp out and smacks kande in the forehead with it. "Over my dead body!"

"Well, that's another version. Do you want to hear it?" kande asks eagerly.

Kenamom glares at her and turns to the others in the klub. "Now, about that scream. We need to investigate. We'll split into teams and go search. Let's see..." Kenamom points from person to person while silently saying "one potato two potato..." As she goes through the group, she jots down notes on her notepad. When she's done, she stands on the bar to get everyone's attention.

"People! Here's how I see this going down. Stardoe, Rabid and Bubba will take the east side of town. IG, Detoured and DBTL will go west. Witcha, GWW and KS will head north. CW and I will cover the south. Ready? Let's go!"

"But...what about me?" kande asks as they all rush out the door. The door slams shut, leaving kande alone. She pouts for a moment, then goes back to her office to work on the next version of The X-File: The Musical. When she sits at her typewriter, she sees that someone has typed a note. Kande looks around the room and sees no one.

Careful to not smudge any fingerprints, kande pulls on a pair of latex gloves. She hits the return key a couple of times, then bends over to read the message.

"Help me! I'm being held hostage at the abandoned warehouse down by the train tracks. Hurry! There's not much time!"

Kande starts to run out the door, then stops. "Wait a second," she says. "If you're being held hostage, how did you type this message?" Kande is peeved that she's been duped. Suddenly, "Wait! It must be an X-File!" Kande runs out of the room, out the klub's front door, and heads toward the train tracks.

The closet door behind kande's desk swings open and a person steps out, chuckling. "Everything is going according to plan! Hehehe!"
