Subject: Tainted IQs

Who defined intelligence?

Was it someone who needed particular skills? (Capitalism)

Did they need someone who needed math skills?

Did they need people who needed abilities discerning the difference between objects?

Did they need people who had English skills?

What then do the IQ tests test for?

Does the result of an IQ test, then, tell how intelligent a person is, or rather is it a tool used to taylor them for the needs of the culture?

If it is assumed that all people who know math are intelligent, is it possible that you might find a person who knows no math at all, yet is intelligent?

If it is assumed that all people who can determine relationships between differences between shapes or collections of shapes and find the closest similarities are intelligent, is it possible to find a person who is intelligent who can discern no relationships between shapes?

If it is assumed that those with abilities to rearrange letters to form English words are intelligent, does it mean that people who know German better and only know a little English are more intelligent?

IQ tests are always tainted by the judgement of the creator.
