Kosses' sudden shift in mood left Moina feeling unbalanced and far more suspicious than when the alpha had been aggressive. She flinched at the lick, but didn't move otherwise, one aud flicking forward to focus in on Kosses. Uncertainly, Moina glanced over her shoulder at her brother. Some unspoken communication passed, and he rolled his shoulders as he stepped aside. Moina whine softly, and from deep beneath the bush Gavin had been standing in front of, two miniature ghosts appeared. It would have been expected for Ainle, the little male, to make his way into the open first.. but Stella, Moina's daughter was first to poke her head out from under the bush and survey the adults surrounding them with a bit of trepidation.
Moina had straightened, and turned her side, albeit cautiously, to Face Kosses as she whined to her pups. Both pups were shaking anxiously as they peered up at the adults, Stalla with her head poking from beneath the bush.. Ainle was hiding further back, behind his sister. While he had more energy than his smaller sibling, she was apparently the braver, more outgoing. Moina lowered her nose to Stella and wuffled encouragingly before stepping back, and giving the pups room to move out from under their hiding spot.
Stella crept out slowly, belly low to the ground, gaze focused on the faces of the three adults towering over her. She wasn't used to pack life, and didn't realize that to stare at an adult in the face was a no-no... Ainle hesitated until His sister was fully out in the open, and standing on all four paws before he made his own timid entrance.
Moina watched her pups closely, and Kosses even more closely. Gavin's gaze flicked between his sister and his alpha, studying Kosses more closely now that the tension of bringing the pups home had caused. He saw the inner turmoil, the pain, and wondered at it absently. What affects would this have on their normally strong leader... she looked so.... sad now. HIs own rump settled onto the ground, his gaze drifting idly among the others
