What a difference a dvd makes. I just noticed that some vital scenes in the series were cut off by USA network where I did my catch up on JAG. To cite samples like We The People episode I never saw Harm goading Mac some more about her uncle before Harm invites her to get inside the elevator.

To Russia with Love episode Harm and Mac fans were so crazy over that pajama scene and everytime I watched that on USA network they entirely skipped that scene.

I can name more but I have to mention Goodbye episode where Jordan warned Harm she will be present at AJ's christening and jealously added she knew Mac and Harm will be the godparents. I never saw Harm smiling and looking so happy and guilty at the same time add the face of Jordan like she knew the Jag partners are in love with each other.

Sorry to bump the wonderful post of Paris but you can see Im enjoying my dvd way too much. {{{{LOL}}}}

It was nice to hear Slice by Five for Fighting on Army Wives last night and as usual Bell was entertaining and beautiful to watch. I love Five for Fighting and can't help remembering 100 Years their other hit song which was played in the touching closing moments of JAG.

Didn't like Cresswell at first, but I warmed to him as he seemed to respect & appreciate Mac & her contributions to JAG. As much as I loved AJ, he sometimes didn't treat Mac with respect, especially the episode in which he took the high profile case away from Mac & gave it to Harm (because Harm whined) & stuck her with what was it, the flying robot? - I'm all for a JAG movie as long as its done with dignity & respect. Love to see them in San Diego, married & maybe getting involved in some case that involves the whole gang. What would worry me is if they'd split up, & they were using this as a way to bring the two back together. I want happiness for Mac, something that IMHO was denied her (until the very end) with all the garbage they threw at her character, & to see her in a Command position where she's respected & treated like an equal. Do you think Mac lost the coin toss since the bride to be called out tails which she usually did in the past and lost.On that episode Silent Service among my favorite episodes Mac called out tails also and lost. Either way whoever lost seems to be both are so in love and happy and so ready to begin a life together and a family.

Im losing the timeline because watching Jag on dvd makes me sad that Trevor Goddard is no longer with us even when I hated Mic so much. Did he die when Mic's character left for Australia? I dont watch the eps in order because some Jag eps I cannot endure. I cant believe a Jag movie is out there. Im so afraid of one for many reasons because I love how it ended with Harm and Mac. I have yet to see a TV movie reunion that was excellent and then we got Mr.Bellisario who loves to put fans into boot camp. But if a movie is coming our way I cant help that I will get excited. I will not miss it in this world. Wish they will make it sooner while Im still well and kicking. Sounds a bit morbid but true.

- Hi, Trevor Goddard died in June 2003, which I think was about 2 seasons after the Mic character left JAG for good. Mic left the first episode of Season 7, and Trevor died after Season 8 had been completed. Didn't care for Mic either, was glad when he left, but I do see sympathy for Trevor's family, especially his two sons, on their loss. My daughter surprised me with the Jag dvd seasons 9-10. You can imagine my delight and total surprise. She said its one of her early Mother's Day surprises and more will come later because she will journey on a much needed vacation with her husband and children. - So many episodes stands out. Black Jet is a special one.Many characters in Jag saw it even the women in Harm's life and the men in Mac's life. For me the biggie one was Yeah Baby.Kids state the truth and Chloe did that to Mac that she's in love with Harm and that Harm feels the same way too.Men would not just offer having babies to a woman.That's a huge move and a lot of responsibilities but Harm talked about having a baby with Mac. I tried watching NCIS but something always rubs me off and I noticed how the characters are usually obnoxious and smart a##es. With Jag no doubt its a military show but there's softness and heart to it. The characters seem human. NCIS reminds me of how Jag started year one that I didn't like because the characters like Pike or Krennick if Im correct are too aggressive and act like caricatures. I dont like their attitude. I could be wrong about this but its just my observation. But for those that like NCIS good for them.

- NCIS is very good with a great cast of characters. They feed off of each other. I like the show because it is a show made for adults, not teenagers. There is a lot of adult humor with subjective meanings. There is no love interests per se, but there is a strong bond between the characters. Am I alone in noticing that the media was not really so loving towards Jag especially when it comes to the reviews and critics but I notice the love affair of the press towards Army Wives. Dont get me wrong there are a handful of lukewarm reviews on Army Wives but overall the feedback and reviews for the show have been warm and outstanding.
I would 9% not so good reviews vs 85% great reviews for Army Wives.

My grandma is new to Jag so we both enjoy my new Jag collection and I got Everybody Loves Raymond for her too. I take care of her so watching movies and tv shows on dvd are part of our luxuries and bonding. She's not on season 9 and we both watched last night What If and Hard Time episode. It was good to see her laughing so hard with What If. I was laughing at the episode and at my gram's reaction. It was the first time I noticed how cute Mac was when she and Harm were cleaning up their home. She was wearing pink uggs. Mac looks so cute. I wish she kept it on but on the room she had her shoes on but only understandable because she and Rabb were battling for more foreplay at the courtroom. A romantic and hilarious episode. I cant get enough cuteness of Mac especially in uggs.

Maxim a guy magazine courtesy of my boyfriend mentioned the love deep between Harm and Mac but also cant help noticed what millions did and that's their pure steaminess. The editor mentioned after years of teasing the audience their RST would have helped the show's quality and the ratings as in reverse Moonlighting. On another column of "Its Hard to Say Goodbye". They characters from Grissom,characters from Gilmore girls,Rob Lowe of West Wing,Bristow of Alias, etc. Out of 10 Mac was no.4 as audiences missing the most and while most characters are lame and like cellophanes Mac is the one audiences can actively identify.

This is for Jennifer thanking her for offering to give me a copy of Catherine's TV movie the Good Witch. A good friend at work surprised me with it since she knows Im a big fan of Catherine. CB was great as always and beautiful as ever. Im sorry I never got around to thanking Jennifer but my work requires me to travel a lot which at times gets to me because I miss my wife and I get so exhausted from it. But Im not going to complain because I have a job unlike so many who are unemployed in this hard times. I also had a trip to the hospital for kidney stones and I almost passed out from the pain. The pain made me think of women during childbirth.
Happy New Year Jennifer and thank you again. Wish all the Mac fans a Happy New Year too. February is heading our way soon and the season 10 DVD will be ours.

I watch Jag for Mac the character. She may be a woman but i can relate to her more.Even when the show is a drab she made it entertaining and exciting. CB as Mac and DJE as Harm sold the romantic elements to the most straight macho guys in the audiences. Yes I watched purely waiting for Mac and Harm to be a couple. The was one unrealistic angle the show has done prolong this two. The writers in this show must be stressed out all the time not knowing what to do with their characters and the romance.
And how Mac handles a gun some know what they say about a woman who knows how to handle a firearm. They're so cool.
Even worst that she is ridiculously hot. Mac is the complete package and A grade wife material. Damn that lucky Rabb.

Found this Mac scrapbook and got a kick out of it.While I always felt that Harm and Mac were the emotional centerpiece of JAG I believe Mac really brought magic and inspiration to the show. I doubt I would have watch the show without her.

- I don't think that JAG would've lasted for 9 years on CBS without the addition of the Mac character. CB really brought something to the show, with her portrayal of Mac. The writer's didn't always treat their female lead with dignity & respect, & threw everything at Mac including the kitchen sink, but CB always amazed, which I think is one of the reasons so many people loved Mac & were rooting for her. Do you remember your first Jag episode? and first Mac encounter? I started watching the show on NBC the first Jag episode and the episode where Kate and Harm were saving Meg.It was not enough for me to come back every week.The show was corny and the characters even Kate and Meg so dull and annoying.I heard about Jag coming back to CBS so I gave it another chance. The episode was Innocence I believe.
The plot was good enough but most of all I took notice of Mac. She's hot but she's relatable,girl next door,tough and smart yet something enigmatic and vulnerable about her.
I had to get to know her. I also liked the Admiral very much and the Harm and Mac chemistry and dynamic was just like a drug addiction for me.

  - In my humble opinion she is the best actress on TV. She uses her facial expression, body language, and tone of voice to convey so many different emotions. Most sctress, including men, don't disply they emotions very well, they may be funny or dramatic, but they don't emcompass the wide range that Catherine has done in her years on JAG and AW. With Christmas approaching us all what is your all time Jag Christmas episode?

I know we got All Ye Faithful,Ghost of Christmas Past,A Merry Christmas,Jaggle Bells. Im not sure I got it all down.

But my favorite would be "Four Percent Solution". I love the message reminding us all how precious life is and we got a deeper Mac. CB was masterful and entertaining as always and slowly our Mac got a break from the evil powers that be. Poor girl is always suffering.

Im back again asking about the Jag season 10 dvd.

Anyone know about the extras of this DVD especially if there's any alternate ending between Harm and Mac?
I remember hearing about the alternate scripts so makes me wonder if they filmed other scenarios other than the finale that we saw?
