[All noct cabal cc'ed]

As for using emotional equivalents, as Hobbes says: "Eloquence is power," so you may be best off using phrases that flow more comfortably rather than those that are completely correct.

On the subject of power, don't forget that Hobbes covers Honor in the same chapter. I think its very important to behave with Honor for two reasons. Hobbes argues (later on) that we should behave well (with Honor) to others because we don't know when we will be put in a disadventageous position. I agree with this, but I also think that we should behave Honorably simply because that is the right thing to do.

I'm definatley your friend, and I hope you will be mine. Friends are useful as a means to power I supose, but they are also simply enjoyable companions. I get very lonely when I don't have friends around.

I appreciate you not reading the messages. This does bring up some questions though, if you don't mind me asking. How did you find those messages? I've been using a different e-mail address and computer to send those, for convenience sake as well as for security. My friends and I are new to this whole "magic" thing and we are think its best to be cautious. Also, could you really decrypt them? They are very heavily encrypted. If you were to break them would you be doing so with a novel algorithm or via brute force? I'm includeing my PGP key in this message so you and I can have secret conversations as well. Can you give me yours?

I'm forwarding this message to my friends so they can meet you. They were all very excited to learn that I'd been talking to you. I'm sure they will be your friends too!

I think that's great!! I think its good you've chosen your own image, that anime picture always seemed too silly for someone as intellegent as you.
