Subject: Freedom of Speech

It seems there needs to be a little lesson in the freedom
of speech. While we are trying to be a constructive board and get answers to pass onto the parent community, there are others that would stifle it.

We implore you, Ms. PTA President, to stop taking down our flyers from around the neighborhood. Unfortunately, you have been spotted doing so and it just makes you look as if there is something to hide, even if there isn't. This board and website can be a valuable tool in getting information out to those who are not able to be in the school as much as others.

While you can use this board to post any announcements for PTA sponsored events (sponsored with our fundraising money, I might add) with our support, if the PTA Board could clarify issues here too, it'd be helpful.

*What grades are using the Rigby readers?
*How much is budgeted for Teacher Appreciation Week?
*When is kindergarten Field Day?
*What is the amount of Escrip contributions so far and how many have signed up so far?
*If you'd like the newsletter done, we're willing to collaborate with you on it, along with other parents online.

Just a few questions so far that haven't been answered yet.
