Should she accept his dinner offer? From a strictly business point of view she knew it would be wise, for she had no food nor did she know anyone in this town yet (aside from, she thought darkly, Fifi) whom she could stay with, but in the back of her mind she knew there was another part of her that desperately wanted to say yes to this man regardless. But she best not let this part speak for her, for it had wrought damage that had not yet been healed in the past. "Dinner will be fine," she said, keeping her face as emotionless as possible. He was still staring at her in a way that made her shift from foot to foot. Fifi began to whimper behind her. She sighed. "As long as my...sister may come as well." The gentleman smiled, noting her distaste in admitting that she was related to the crazy girl with an obvious infatuation with him.
