that sounds dodgy to me
demand proof the tapes were sent
ask to see the shipping/post invoice
date sent etc.
if they send them regular post
accuse them of deliberatly using an untraceable delivery system.
because they are...
what bastards...
if u want the tapes replaced...ring them up and ask to speak to the president of the company...most CEO's take a keen interest in something like this.
they gat to crack the whip and feel like theyre actually doing something...
and CEO's dont like pissed off customers...

It means the system is failing somewhere along the line.

if u cant reach the ceo then ask for the vice president

if this is important to you..you can win..

its not as tho youre ripping them off...thsy OWE you ww tapes dammit!

and from what i remember of the prices for ww tapes youre out more than a few pounds...

also email the customer service dept,,,ask that your mail be forwarded to the head of customer service/relations...

if some glog in the trenches is making the decision to deny you your tapes then go over their head and so on and so on...

companies with insane policies like this can be beaten but only if youre enough of a pain in the ass that they will give u a refund or the tapes just make u go away...

its worked for me before...

or...u could ask the dozer or the seems to make u copies of their tapes..

=)

if your VCR plays north american tapes (like the seems does)
you could probably get some canadian to make u a tape...

either way...to do nothing about the tapes is akin to taking however many pounds thay cost and setting them on fire ....
