Powerfeed- If you look through the window on the powerfeed tube should be half blocked by the side of the powerfeed plug. It should sit in there straight up and down (and not tilted to the sides). However at one time I had a feeding problem until I angled the p/f... I wouldn't reccomend it though, you don't seem to be having a feed problem.

Recock-

1. Is your cup seal screwed onto the pin tightly? If it's loose it could cause a "beat down" like uncock... much like running out of gas.

2. Your F4 is getting up there in age (3 years...) How are the sear and striker looking? There should be a crisp edge on both, if the parts are worn down too much that could cause your marker to uncock.

3. Q- When it uncocks what exactly is it doing? Beating down like it is out of co2 or just stopping like it's hit a wall? (I don't remember seeing you post this, correct me if I just missed it somewhere)

4. This just occured to me! Lol, this may be the source of the recock issue, front spring wear (valve spring I belive). If your front spring is not strong enough to return your striker to the "reset" position your marker will not recock, a parts kit could remedy this problem. (You've probably been running off the same springs like I did for four years right?)

Ball Detent- I took my F4 out today and tried messing around with the detent etc. It really doesn't take all that much force to get the ball past the detent (even on my Minimag). All the ball detent has to do is hold the ball in place... I also could flick my wrist downwards and the ball would pop out (sometimes), however I don't double feed so this may not be it. (Are the paintballs you use really small? If so your spring may need adjustment)

That's all I got for now!

P.S. One more thing, just to rule out feeding problems as the source of your chops- Remove your barrel and your ball detent (spring and all) cock your bolt back and put a hopperload of paint (on the marker like normal). Tilt the gun down and shake every once in a while to keep the paint flowing... if there's no hang ups etc. We'll know your chops are either due to double feeding or another mech. problem.
