The thing is, since the temperature would be so low (necessitating going liquid in the first place) the operating pressure will be much lower, so less liquid will be forced through the valve...also, liquid is much more viscous than gas, so that will further restrict the flow.

Heck, I've got some extra o-rings, maybe on a cold weekend in the next couple weeks, I'll try it out and send in a report for the FAQ....even though I guess that question probably isn't "frequent"...oh well.
