I have a 99' F4, and first barrel I bought for it was a DYE Boomstick and it a was a fairly accurate barrel, until the tiny holes clogged on a double break, which did shoot through, but after a couple test fires the paint was so erratic I had to quite. So a friend recommended the Lapco Bigshot Aluminum. A year later I have not used that Dye since. I use PMI Marballizer paint, I have not had one break until I used some bad house paint. I was able to shoot though and with one quick swab was able to finish the game with great accuracy. The large porting in the front really helps with sound and recoil. Also the Marballizer paint fits this barrel perfectly. Here is a good article on the paint.
