it sounds like your aluminum body is stripped,buying a new adaptor isn't going to fix that.You need to get threads back into your gun body, or buy a new one(body only).industrial supply houses sell heli-coils or thread inserts that you can insert into your gun body to give you new threads.most of the industrial supply places can tell you exactly how to put in the insert they sell too.You might want to try that first and if it doesn't work out, then think about buying a new body.
