did I miss something? When did Michael-having-allergies enter into fanon? I don't know that I've ever read that one...

Nikita as sexually-abused, sure. I've used it a lot, personally. It's definately fanon in that it was never stated on the show, but it makes some sense of her behaviors and is part of my personal backstory for her as a character.

I've read a lot of Michael-as-a-closet-artist (because he used an art gallery business card in "Gray") and Michael-as-frustrated-musician ("Gates of Hell") - both of which, although grounded in canon also seem to play into many writers wish for Michael-as-a-sensitive-guy (and I put myself smack in the middle of that group of writers!)

But, please explain to me: what is the purpose of 'giving' Michael allergies? I can't recall *anything* in the show that would even indicate this and I'm not sure what the purpose would be.
