(His brow arched as he watched the man's little routine, figuring it had been used a number of times before and that it was something of a self-amusement sort of thing.. however, he was not amused in the least nor was he feeling charmed either. He eyed Haylie with annoyance and then crossed his arms over his broad chest in order to slant a displeased look at the new man. The guy was probably from 'casual company' - some jarhead that was itching for a better ride and had done everything he could to get picked up by a higher authority. He let out another disgruntled snort and finished off his beer, getting up to go get another one and taking the exact same position and expression he had had before.) (He stared at his ex-partner for a moment, trying to decipher if it was sheer jealousy or if it was something deeper that was making Kyrian so ornery. Letting it go, he shook his head a little and brought his intelligent gaze back to Braden, having no missed a single word or expression that had passed between all three of the other people in the room.) You came highly reccomended by Director Marshall, as a matter of fact.. I've had feelers out for a while for a few new operatives and I haven't seen one as highly decorated as you are at such a young age. (He arched a brow, a teasing smile crossing his features.) You're either damn good, or damn lucky.. and either way I can use you in my team if you make the cut.
