Aside from a few raucous comments on the fact that the man (Ben),caught, had at least gotten a piece of fine arse, before his capture, (at least this was the general consensus), she gleaned little else from the run of conversation through the room. Her curiousity went unsatisfied for the most part, but she was content with witnessing what she had. It was nice to know such wickedness still flourished, at least in the pirate towns. She could feel Angus' eyes still on her, even knew when they moved on to someone else and when they traveled back. Something was tickling at the back of Angus' senses. The man was no fool. The old crones did not often come into the Salty Dog, though on occassion they did, it was most often early in the day, or when men were their drunkest. This was neither of those times, and so perhaps that alone, marked her. Certainly it was not any fault of her costume, for from the yellowed nails to the labored breathing and bent back, nothing hinted that she was anything but the old mother. Angus might have thought her patronage here odd enough for a second look, but was even he brave enough to get too close and anger one of the elders that could very well have knowledge of curses that could shrivel a mans pride in his breeches? Surely she would have been burned as a witch should such occur, but was Angus brave enough to risk it? The old mother could very well be just that and not the master of disguise he was looking for. Such a question she would not have to ask about Morley. A second look from him and she would be known. She quite enjoyed this little game however, and she was confident in the mere fact that she had nothing of value, and wanted nothing in return, and old Bob apparently had his hands full already.
