So true. They have certainly suffered more than their share of trials, I'm sorry to say. They are not doomed, I'm happy to say. :)

We are so quick to judge. Truly, no one is "doomed" who chooses not to be. God's message has always been about Love. His will is for all to come to find a way out of this fine mess we've found ourselves in on this earth. God is not a mean God wanting to zap folks. Yes, we must acknowledge our sins, and repent. We can all ask God to do that, to forgive our sins. I don't believe, from what I read in scriptures, that anyone can work their way to eternal life. It is a gift.

anyone misreads my that last post, I was not inferring that anyone was judging anyone here. I was speaking in general terms. :)
