Well, this was at a health center, so there were surely other specialists, doctors and dentists, present at the place. I guess that an oral surgery is equipped with arrangements so that it is practical to do things at any place of the body, and that other specialists only needed to bring with them equipment on a trolly. General anesthesia with intubation is also used during oral surgery in special cases, which means that it must be easy to insert a catheter and connect surveillance electrodes.

The things told about surely took a long time, so they surely had some arrangement to collect urine. But the question is if some other things were done.

Parents or authorities may have arranged with other specialists at the center to perform other examinations too.

Myself I had braces and 4 teeth removed at the age of 12, one at an oral surgeon, but only with local anesthesia. Later on I judged the whole procedure to be unnecessary and more harmfyl than good, even though that it was sucessful according to plan. That made me complaint about the orthodontist to the health authorities and also appeared unexpectedly at his office to tell him what I thought about him.

But I had a thorough pelvic exam under some degree of anesthesia soon afterwords. I had the impression that any kid having some type of deviation from the normal standard in one place of the body also got called in for a pelvic exam and assessment of pubertal status.

Therefor I find it likely that something like this was done,
