He watched her as she moved, ever watchful despite the pleasures of soaking in the warm waters. As her tongue grazed his cheek he shifted, teeth grasping the extra flesh at the side of her neck for a moment. His hold was gentle, only giving a slight tug before releasing her again. Green gaze followed her retreat for a moment before he stood, moving after her. Water streaming from his thick coat, he waited till they were at the shore before shaking himself. That wolfish grin on his face, tail wagging as he glanced at her, sure to have gotten her just as wet. Never mind that she was already wet, it was the fun of assaulting her with the spray that was fun.

The breeze was not in their favor, blowing across the water and into the cougars face. He'd have no clue of the danger they were in till the trap had been sprung, leaving them only the chance to react, to defend.
