Xiua rolled her eyes arrogently. {That is, if you could catch me.} She then gave herself a sharp reprimend. She should be nicer. Scorch it, her rider's emotions were so confusing!

Synthis gently allowed herslef to be drawn to him, as close as possible. Her breath left her as their lips met, and she found herslef wrapping her arms gently around him.

When he stepped away, she looked at him, almost startled.

Once again, Xiua loaned her voice.

{M'att...} tears threatened to overtake her, but she pushed them away. {Of course I'm sure, M'att.} her heart was pounding, and she was sure M'att could hear it. {I've never been more sure of anything in my entire life! M'att, I... I... love... you.}

She trembled worse than ever, and she was afraid that she'd never stop. She felt cold, and alone. Her past seemed to be creeping up on her, and all she wanted was to leave it behind, forget about it, and move on... But it seemed impossible. Even now, her past could haunt her. Even at the happiest moment of her life.

M'att didn't know her past. It wasn't his problem. But, if he did... would he still love her?
