When I configure the TCP/IP control panel, and then go back in, it looks the same. I don't see anything like 169 what ever.....

I changed the user mode of TCP/IP to Advanced to see more options. I clicked on "Options" and found "load only when needed" was checked. I have un checked it. The "Make TPC/IP Active or Inactive" was set to Active.

In the main TCP/IP window, I have "pop.ptld.qwest.net" in the windows that says "Implicit Search Path Starting Domain Name"

I am starting to wonder that I don't have a ethernet icon in the Chooser window. Is that correct?
