MikeWood,

we calculate average of their grades for each subject during the week. It must be not less than "very good". Usually they have bit less average in some subjects. Also they (especially younger one) getting notes about their behaviour from teacher. So most of Fridays they deserving some belt. Such system with average grades works well as when they are getting bad grade at the beginning of week they trying hard to "correct" it later during the week by getting excellent one to make average acceptable.
