I am pretty new here myself but Kristina and I have been having some interesting exchanges and my husband and I have already learned a lot of useful tips from her in handling the discipline of our three (two girls and one boy). One of the practices we share with Kristina is that since last September we have been using nightly bedtime spankings for our three and that has really been working wonderfully well for us. My husband and I actually look forward now to the our children's bedtime, which for a long time was a time full of minor and sometimes major aggravations. Now, after their spankings and lots of hugs and kisses, our kids cry themselves peacefully to sleep and they get a very restful night and are wonderfully refreshed and ready for the new day each morning.

It looks like FTO is working very well for you with your three active and fun boys, Heather. If I can ask, on average how often do you find that you spank your three these days? Do you have some regular days that all get spanked--like after church on Sundays? If they slip up on FTO does that usually mean a spanking on the spot? How do you spank your three--by hand? by hand and with an implement (hairbrush, paddle, spatula, wooden spoon, strap)? Do you at some time each week give them all a long and serious spanking?

Hope you don't mind those questions. I have been providing a lot of detail to readers here about how my three are spanked so that all reading here can get a real understanding of how we are doing things, and I really appreciate hearing the details of how others are doing things with their kids--what is working well for them, and what hasn't worked so well in the past.
