~+~*all of the Maidens had been somewhat silent during this portion of the trip. Meria, Xing, and Xu were all walking together which sparked some slight interest- Lightning, Fire, and Earth- the trio of elements most often used to ward off evil spirits in many cultures. You were aware that the elves used those three elements, as did the Saharians and various Guardians and Humans. Chili, Ediel, and Kalyra were in another group off to one side. Water, Flowers, and Wind; Healing, Growth, and Peace. you doubted that they were aware of the way they had paired themselves off. Teyon and Taran were up ahead with Venan- you missed any hidden meaning that there might have been in two guards and a priest. Araeian and Loki were at the back of the group. That was when you first noted that Loki was not hurt by sunlight- so he was indeed an illigetimate child of Eikonfess. Araeian had said little since you had left Ashavar- but you really didn't blame her. everything here was new.*~+~

~+~*you reached the castle in relative peace, but problems arose as soon as you got there. every entrance that you could see was heavily guarded- which did not surprise you, all things considered. the front gate was out of the question- the servant entrances as well. all of the balconies that you had any hopes of reaching by foot were blocked as well. most of the ones higher up were cut off as well. you walked around the entire castle, twice- and the only one that you had any hopes of reaching was about 70 feet up, with two guards protecting it. you retreated to the rear of the castle, and ducked into an out-of-use servants house to plan. you all barely fit into the house, but there was enough room left to be comfortable. Araeian was kind enough to stand near a wall so that her wings would not take up quite as much room. all you had to do now was think of a plan.*~+~

Taran- those of us that can fly wouldn't have many problems, but the people who can't.....

Chili- we can't possibly climb it without being noticed.....
